Blog Series: Small ways to update your space that make a big impact. Art.

In our new blog series we want to talk about small changes you can make in your home that will have a big impact. In our first post we took a look at hardware (you can check that our here) and in the next two posts we will talk about art, and lighting and how swapping or adding these will make a big difference in your home.

Sometimes when you move into a new home or apartment you have to tackle your decorating in phases. Maybe you have a plan for a large renovation 5,10, or 15 years down the road or maybe all the expenses involved in purchasing a home and moving ate your budget and you won’t be able to repaint for another 1-2 years.

Either way, there are small updates you can make in what we like to call Phase 1. We always recommend a Phase 1 plan for our clients who aren’t able to make large scale changes for a while.

Art

Adding or swapping out art is another great way to make your home feel complete while making a big impact. This can be accomplished through gallery walls, large scale art, or both. Trust us, we know that art can be very expensive, but it doesn’t have to be!

We love to do a gallery fall for clients with prints of family photo from Shutterfly in frames from Ikea. Or ordering digital downloads from Etsy, Minted, or Juniper Print Shop. These can be uploaded directly to Framebride and shipped to you in a wide variety of sizes to achieve the look you are going for.
