Lighting

For our third and final post in our series (you can check out our first post on hardware here and our second post on art here) we want to talk about lighting. Lighting makes such a big difference in the home. From chandeliers, to sconces to lamps having the right lighting can instantly elevate a space. Not necessarily the least expensive investment in your home, you can still find light fixtures in a wide variety of price points.

Some basics to know when it comes to lighting:

  • A chandelier or pendants should be 36” from the bottom of the fixture to your table or counter

  • We love when a lamp that is on a larger scale because helps make a room feel bigger and more grand. We recommend going for a lamp that is at least 30” tall.

  • Lighting is a great way to incorporate mixed metals into your home. If all the hardware in your bathroom is a polished nickel try going for brass sconces to help warm up the space.

Below is a roundup of some of our favorite lighting options. Still overwhelmed by the lighting options out there? Schedule your free discovery call and we can see which of our services will best help you and your needs.
